The United Church of Canada Archives includes the General Council Archives and the Central Ontario Conferences Archives serving Bay of Quinte, Hamilton, London, Manitou, and Toronto Conferences.  The Archives includes records of individuals and organizations affiliated with the United Church of Canada, such as former staff and ministry personnel.  It also includes photographs, audiovisual records, architectural drawings, maps, and plans.  The Archives also contains records of some Residential Schools that were initially operated by the Methodist and Presbyterian churches before 1925.  The Archives also runs a virtual exhibit about the Residential Schools called “The Children Remembered: Residential School Archive Project.”

The Archives is open to all researchers.  Registration is required annually and it is recommended to contact the Archives before visiting.
