The Psychiatric Survivor Archives collection includes several fonds from donors around the world, including donated objects, such as sculpture.  The Archives contains material objects created by psychiatric survivors, created when patients of a mental health facility and when no longer patients.  The Archives also has audio visual recordings, covering a range of topics related to mental health, treatment, and protests.  In addition, the Archives collection contains posters from organizations such as the Coalition to Oppose Electro-Shock and Resistance Against Psychiatry, as well as photographs from the nineteenth century to the present of psychiatric institutions, patients, events, or photographs by psychiatric survivors.

The Archives is open select hours Monday to Friday.  Please contact the Archives and search the online “Guide” before visiting the Archives.
