The holdings date back to 1875 and include 100 metres of textual records, such as minutes of boards and committees (Board of Trustees, Medical Advisory Committee, etc.), press clippings, hospital and departmental publications and reports, staff newsletters, media scrapbooks, medical and nursing educational material, histories and personal recollections. There are also over 3,000 photographs and drawings (in a variety of formats), around 300 videotapes, 70 films, 400 objects, 40 architectural drawings or models, 30 audiotapes, and a philatelic collection. The archive is open Monday–Friday by appointment only. There are no access restrictions on the majority of the collection. Reproduction services are available
