These archives house almost 1000 years’ worth of history of Parisian hospitals, including the Hôtel-Dieu (1157–1791), Saint-Jacques-aux-Pélérins (1256–1798), Hôpital Général (1541–1802), Incurables (1649–1789), Trinité (1202–1763), Enfants-Rouges (1524–1777), Enfants-Trouvés (1642–1811), and Saint-Esprit-en-Grève (1263–1793). They also include post-1790, contemporary, medical and administrative fonds, as well as a library which houses over 30,000 titles but whose catalogue is only available on site in the reading room.
